Celebrity Cruise Line's second Edge class ship, APEX, embodies true elegance and sophistication with a modern, comforting style. In addition to the sleek modernity that surrounds you on the ship, numerous innovations specific to this unique class of cruise ships enhance your immersive experience. We will go through a quick deck-by-deck overview of each main attraction and enhancement aboard this amazing vessel.

Deck 2 is where the Destination Gateway can be found. This is the usual debarkation/embarkation point on the ship. Unlike some ships, this is a nice open platform that quickly moves passengers off and on the boat at various ports. This is also where the Magic Carpet platform can come down to water level and be used to allow passengers to get on and off the tender boats for ports that do not have a pier that can accommodate larger vessels. The secret stairs down to the Destination Gateway are behind the Martini Bar on Deck 3, see if you can find them on your next trip!

Speaking of Deck 3, this is where the party scene is every night at the Grand Plaza with the main centerpiece being the Martini Bar. Many different types of martinis and drinks are served here, and twice a day you will see the Chandelier Show, where these specially trained bartenders give quite a show! Guest relations and internet services are also located on this floor. In the aft, there are two main dining rooms located on this floor, Tuscan and Normandie. Camp at Sea, the kids club, is located forward on this deck to keep the kidos entertained while you enjoy the bartenders pouring over a dozen martinis at one time!

Deck 4 contains a large variety of dining and entertainment options. Specialty dining venues, Le Grande Bistro, Craft Social Pub and Eden Restaurant are located here. The other two main dining rooms, Cyprus and Cosmopolitan are aft above the other two dining rooms on Deck 3. Cafe Al Bacio, the main coffee bar, can be found here for your specialty coffees and some quick snacks. The Casino, Celebrity Shops for all your shopping needs, Future Cruise, Photo Lounge and Shore Excursions desks are located midship. The main entrance to the Theatre is found in the bow of the ship and covers three decks. It has a very unique "surround" stage placing the shows in the middle of the room. This gives an amazing view from almost anywhere in the theatre. And if that isn't enough, the main entrance to The Club is also found here so you can continue your fun late into the night with music and dancing.

Even more can be found on Deck 5. Starting aft, you will enjoy the vast space of Eden Bar. This is a very unique location with tons of windows and seating. It is also another location that has shows and music throughout the day. The Eden Bar has many unique concoctions that you will not find at any other bar. There is a fun ramp that goes from deck 5 up to deck six that walks along the windows on the back of the ship, giving wonderful wake views. Along that walkway are comfortable seats, bistro tables and fun chair swings to sit and enjoy your wonderful libations while watching the destinations disappear behind you. Further forward on deck 5 you will find the Pandora shop and then run into the Blu dining room. This venue is reserved for Aqua class and other suite guests may be able to eat there as well if it is not busy. Once you move forward more, you run into the upper level of the Grand Plaza, Fine Cut Steakhouse and Raw on 5, the onboard seafood and sushi restaurant. The upper level entrance to The Club is on this deck right after you pass through the Art Gallery. The upper level of The Theatre is also located in the most forward area of the ship.
Deck 6 is mainly passenger accommodations, with the only public space being the upper level of Eden in the shifts stern.
Decks 7-11 are all staterooms with no venues.

Deck 12 is where Luminae At The Retreat is located. This is a unique and masterful dining area reserved for suite guests only. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner depending on port day schedules.
There is no deck 13. (Think hotel mystique).

Deck 14 is where the fun starts again! This is where the magnificent Oceanview Cafe is located in the back of the ship. This is your one-stop-eat place with the buffet having varieties of foods that change each day. Carving stations, fresh baked breads, salads and hot foods from all over the world are found here. Just forward of the Oceanview Cafe on the port side is another all important coffee bar, Il Secondo Bacio. You can get your specialty coffees here if the main coffee bar, Al Bacio is too busy on deck 4. Watch the time of day, however, since this coffee bar serves everyone in the Oceanview Cafe and can get

very busy during meal times. Now we move outside into the main pool area with plenty of seating in the sun and in the shade. The Magic Carpet is found here when it is not in use, with rentable cabanas next to if for a more plush relaxation next to the Magic Carpet Bar.

If you need a snack, the Mast Grill is starboard just forward of the Magic Carpet for burgers and hotdogs. Don't forget to grab a drink while you are there at the Pool Bar just next to the Mast Grill. If the pool party vibe is not your thing, keep going forward into the adult only Solarium. this is a covered and environmentally controlled area that allows pool time no matter what the outside weather may throw at you. A wading pool and two hot tubs are there for your relaxation, and the Solarium Bar can quench any thirst that my come. The Spa Cafe and Juice Bar is located on the port side for some lighter snacks and healthy juice smoothies. Just forward of this is The Spa. Any number of pampering treatments are available here from hair, nails, massage and thermal suites.

On Deck 16 you will find the wonderful Sunset Bar on the stern of the ship with great wake views and busy bartenders. And as the name suggests, it is a great place for sail away sunset views.

The Rooftop Garden Grill is another dining venue just behind the

Rooftop Garden with its lush foliage and relaxed seating. There is a giant TV screen to watch the big game or movies at night. The main floor is used for many activities including morning Yoga or Zumba to help work off your cruise feasting calories. The jogging track is located on this deck with a unique inclined ramp along the port side up to deck 16.

Further forward on dek 15 is The Retreat
Lounge and Retreat Deck. This area is for suite guests with comfy seating, drinks and snacks. Fully forward is the fitness center with any possible exercise equipment you may need. Classes are also available in this area if scheduled.

Deck 17 has only a few findings. This is where the running track from deck 15 makes its way around and back towards the aft of the ship. There are two hot tubs located on this deck that look out over the main pool on pedestals that make them look like champagne glasses from the pool deck. The remainder of this deck is dedicated to suite guests with The Retreat Sundeck, Bar and Pool. It is a spacious area with plenty of comfortable seats, daybeds or cabanas to lounge on. A hot tub and wading pool with swinging chairs are located fully forward with food an bar service available. The Edge Villa suites are on this level as well with doors that exit directly onto The Retreat Sundeck.
Celebrity Apex and the other Edge class ships may not be the biggest ships on the water, but they give a very unique, sophisticated and relaxing environment to feel entirely pampered while sailing to your next destination!
