Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas is the fourth in the Oasis class of cruise ships. All Oasis class ships are separated into neighborhoods. Each neighborhood has a different theme and ambiance. Dispersed in these sections are a multitude of options for dining, shopping and entertainment.
Royal Caribbean has consistently crafted their Oasis ships to be destinations in their own right, focusing on a diverse array of entertainment options to cater to different preferences. Whether it's a classic day by the pool with an umbrella drink, enjoying waterslides, zip lines, and wave pools, or indulging in comfortable shopping, live music, and live shows—Symphony of the Seas offers nearly every type of venue imaginable.

Central Park on Deck 8 is a fantastic outdoor location featuring vibrant live plants and trees with sounds of birds chirping, outdoor dining, and a variety of restaurants and shops. In the evening, the atmosphere transforms with soft lighting and the sound of crickets. Live musicians play with comfortable seating around. A wonderful place to relax after your dinner with a nice glass of wine and enjoy the evening.

There are multiple pools on the pool deck, Deck 15, ranging from the splashpad, Splashaway Bay, for the tiny ones, the Flowrider for those adventurous enough to attempt to bodysurf, to multiple family pools and the adult pool in the Solarium. There are a plethora of hot tubs as well to soak in on your days of sun-and-fun.

The Royal Promenade on Deck 5 is the indoor gathering area with multiple options. Stop for coffee at Starbucks or Cafe Promenade, pizza at Sorrentos, or a pint at the pub, Copper and Kettle. The pub also has live music, which can also be found at Boleros and karaoke at the On Air Club, if you dare! Many shops are located on this deck as well. You can also have an industrial robot make your drink at the Bionic Bar. The Rising Tide bar starts on this deck and slowly rises up to deck 8 in the middle of Central Park allowing for an interesting view while you sip your libations. One level of the Main Dining Room (aft) and the Royal Theater (forward) are located on Deck 5 as well. Deck 6 of the Promanade is where you will find the classic Schooner Bar with live piano, a nautical theme and more themed drinks.

The Boardwalk is located aft on Deck 6 outside. It resembles a classic beach boardwalk with a hot dog stand, carousel, candy shop and an arcade. Playmakers sports bar is located here if you need to catch up on the latest games. Johnny Rockets burger joint allows you to get your classic cheeseburger and milkshake while seated outside and watching the crowds. The rock climbing walls are located here as well as the Aquatheater where you can watch the amazing hi-diving shows in the evenings. The Ultimate Abyss dry slide ends up here after plunging all the way down from Deck 16. Deck 6 forward is also the location of the Vitality Spa and fitness center where you can work off that milkshake, if you feel the need. You can also schedule your massage or other pampering services to add to your relaxing vacation.

The Solarium is a multi-level adults only area on Deck 15 at the front of the ship which is a setting for relaxation under cover of glass to prevent the significant winds that sometimes can be found at the front of a ship that can move along up to 22 knots! There are lush displays of vegetation, comfrotable seating and daybeds, and a wonderful art scupture that changes based on the lighting during the day. Two hot tubs and a soaking pool finish the places to relax after getting your drink at the Solarium Bar. The Bistro Cafe is also located here if you would like to grab a bite to enjoy while watching the ocean go by.

On Deck 4 is the Entertainment Place. This neighborhood includes the Studio B, an ice skating rink where you can watch an amazing ice show as well as other fun events. The Attic is the comedy club and the non-smoking casino is located here as well. Another entrance to the Main Dining room can be found on Deck 4 as well. Aft is the main entrance to the Royal Theatre. Those with Crown and Anchor benefits can use the Crown Lounge at this location.

For Suite guests, there is an entire neighborhood for you! You have access to the Suite Lounge for drinks and appetizers, the Costal Kitchen for dedicated dining for suite guests and the Suite Deck for sun and relaxation, a hot tub and private bar service.

The Youth neighborhood encompasses everything to entertain your kids. Services can be offered for toddlers up to your busy teens. The Nursery and Adventure Ocean is on Deck 14 to keep the younger crowd busy. The Fuel Teen Disco and The Living Room are open for teenagers to socialize, play games and listen to music on Deck 15.
